"Precious Child"
Words and Music by Karen Taylor-Goo

In my dreams, you are alive and well
Precious child, precious child
In my mind, I see you clear as a bell
Precious child, precious child
In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart, there is hope
'Cause you are with me still
In my heart, you live on
Always there never gone
Precious child, you left too soon
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart
In my plans, I was the first to leave
Precious child, precious child
But in this world, I was left here to grieve
Precious child, my precious child
In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart there is hope
And you are with me still
In my heart you live on
Always there, never gone
Precious child, you left too soon,
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart
God knows I want to hold you,
See you, touch you
And someday I will again soon!"

  2. What a special song. I often hear songs on the radio now that make me think of you. Hope you're having some good days and that the memorial garden is coming along nicely! Can't wait to see more pictures:)!

  3. Who's To Say For Certain
    Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
    Your memory's so clear

    Deep in the stillness
    I can hear you speak
    You're still an inspiration
    Can it be (?)
    That you are my
    Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above

Fly me up to where you are
    Beyond the distant star
    I wish upon tonight
    To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
    A breath away's not far
    To where you are

    Are you gently sleeping
    Here inside my dream
    And isn't faith believing
    All power can't be seen

    As my heart holds you
    Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
    'Cause you are my
    Forever love
    Watching me from up above

    And I believe
    That angels breathe
    And that love will
    live on and never leave

    Fly me up
    To where you are
    Beyond the distant star
    I wish upon tonight
    To see you smile
    If only for awhile
    To know you're there
    A breath away's not far
    To where you are

    I know you're there
    A breath away's not far
    To where you are

  4. Thank you for reposting this. I have found comfort in it over the past several years. My sister lost a baby at birth, and I miscarried my first baby. This has given me peace several times. Thank you for reposting it. Praying for you!

Choroid Plexus Cyst (CPC) & Hydronephrosis

I have heard from many of your wondering what exactly these markers are and what could they mean. We received an information sheet from our genetics doctor that I can't seem to upload but I found this write up and thought I would share. The Choroid Plexus and Choroid Plexus CystsThe choroid plexus is an area of the brain that makes cerebrospinal fluid. Cerebrospinal fluid is the substance that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. The choroid plexus is not an area of the brain involved in thinking. Choroid plexus cysts are fluid-filled spaces in the choroid plexus kind of like blisters or bubbles. Choroid plexus cysts are not tumors or cancer, and they will disappear on their own usually between 24 to 26 weeks of pregnancy. Choroid plexus cysts, in and of themselves, are NOT a problem and do not interfere with brain function. They are seen in about 1% (1/100) of all second trimester ultrasounds. Choroid plexus cysts may be seen in one or both sides of the brain and the number, size…

Customized Plates

We have had many mom's contacting us wanting a plate made for their precious baby. We are excited to say this can be done. All we need is a copy of the foot prints. We are so excited that we can offer this. To purchase a custom plate you will need to click on the custom plate tab on the right hand side. You can choose and extras that would like to painted on your plate. If you decide to just have your prints transferred you will still get to choose a color for the rim of the plate. Peekaboo magazine did an story on our loss with Mamie and how I came up with Mamie's Poppy Plates. I wanted to share it all with you. My good friend Meredith also has her story with Miller in the magazine so be sure to pick one up if you can. I will get her article and post it here in a couple of days. - Sarah
