12 Week!

So I am 12 weeks today.  YEA!  We are moving right along.  It is so funny because I really have been feeling pretty good so far minus a little sickness here and there but nothing really to complain about.  My energy level has been the same.  I just have been going to bed around 9ish every night but that is it.  Well, starting Saturday morning I woke up SO nauseated.  I mean I felt horrible.  Jayna and Matthew were here staying with us and she thankfully had some medicine that her doctor said would be safe for us prego chicks to take.  I took part of the pill right then and started feeling better.  Taylor and I headed to Hot Springs for me to shoot a wedding.  I was so tired when we got there so as soon as we checked in to the hotel I took about a 45 minute power nap before Ashley and I headed out for an 8 hour shift :)  All night I kept feeling nausiated and I even woke up 3 times thinking I was going to throw up.  I thought surely this would go away but I have been felling that way ev

Our first baby book

We have been in Hot Springs for me to shoot a wedding this weekend. Ashley and Dustin, two of our very best friends came to hang out. Ashley shot the wedding with me and the boys... Well they played ping pong all night at some hole in the wall bar. Dustin and Ashley gave us our first baby book and it is adorable. They are so sweet. Thanks guys! -Sarah

Merry Christmas

Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas. Gus is super excited about the bone Santa brought him.

11 Weeks!

We are 11 weeks today!  The weeks seem to be flying by.  Yesterday we headed down to Dumas for Cooper, Hayden, and Brayden's first birthday party.  It was a lot of fun.  Cooper and Brayden dug right into their cakes.  Hayden on the other hand was just like a little girl and was very delicate with hers.  They got some really great presents.  Taylor and I had cake plates made for each of them with their name on it.  I thought that would be fun to get out every birthday.  Their own little special plate ;)   About a week ago I went over to one of my favorite clients house to photograph her little boy Breck and their new baby Presley.  Jibbie has been using me for many years now.  She is such a sweet person and it has been so great getting to know she and her children.  She called me the other day to tell me I could barrow ALL of her maternity clothes.  OMG!  Was I excited.  Yesterday Taylor and I stopped by the house to pick up 3 large bags full of clothes.  It has been so fun looking

Deviled Eggs!

Okay this is so sad. I was watching the Biggest Loser on a commercial I switched over and saw I think Top Chef talking about deviled eggs. I had to pause the tv and head in the kitchen to make me some deviled eggs. I mean... is this a joke... right in the middle of the BIGGEST LOSER. LOL! Anyway, they are in the frig getting cold and I can't wait to have one. Taylor said I don't need to start this craving weird foods at night thing because he of coarse is going to have to eat with me :) Jayna, Matthew might not be the only hubby that gains wait during our pregnancy. -Sarah

10 Weeks

We are 10 weeks today.  :)  It has been a busy day.  Brit and I put the deadline for print orders for today.  I feel like I have been on the phone or on email all day with clients.  Taylor and I are snuggled up by a fire listening to the sleet fall outside.  Why can't we just get snow?   Below is what our baby is doing this week.   How your baby's growing: Though he's  barely the size of a kumquat  — a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby has now completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy

1st Doctors Appointment

This morning I woke up and called the doctor to make sure everything was good for our appointment this afternoon. They told me for some reason I was not in the system. I about had a cow. They had sent me all the paper work and I even had a chart number, which they looked up and some other girl had been given that number. They told me I could come in on Monday to see the doctor I wanted to see. I told them NO WAY! I was coming today. Who could I see! My appointment got changed to 2:15 and was with Dr. Sellers. They told me I probably wouldn't get an ultrasound since the tech was out. I decided that I was not going to leave that office till they did some kind of ultrasound on me. I didn't need them to tell me I was pregnant. I already knew that :) Taylor met me at the doctors office. I was so anxious I could barely sit still while we waited. We had a great visit with the nurse and Dr. Sellers. Everything looked good. He was so nice and did not make me feel rushe

9 Weeks!

So we are 9 weeks today! YEA! Baby Center sent me my update. Poppy Seed is just growing away. Here is what they had to say. Your new resident is nearly an inch long — about the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce. She's starting to look more and more human. Her essential body parts are accounted for, though they'll go through plenty of fine-tuning in the coming months. Other changes abound: Your baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Your baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. The external sex organs are there but won't be distinguishable as male or female for another few weeks. Our first doctor's appointment is on Thursday. We cannot wait. -Sarah

Back from NYC!

We had a lot of fun in NY. We did ALOT of walking around the city and it was FREEZING cold. Friday after I meet Taylor at the airport we went to the hotel to check in. We dropped our bags and headed to Carnegie Deli for one of their famous sandwiches. We knew they must be good when we got there and the line was out the door. Yall wouldn't believe how big out sandwiches were. It was amazing and I totally forgot to get a picture of them. After our late lunch we headed out to walk on the streets. We ended up walking to Time Square. People where everywhere. And the smells were totally getting to me. We decided to get back to our hotel in time to rest a bit before we headed out for the Lion King. As soon as we walked in the door I crashed on the bed. I felt SO sick. It was really bad. I fell asleep for about an hour and then somehow managed to get dressed to go to the play. I was so mad that I was sick. The Lion King was absolutely amazing. If any of you go to NY you h

New York, NewYork

I just landed and am waiting for Taylor to meet me at the ariport so we can drive into the city. The flight was okay just really small and FULL of grey hairs. They were all coming to NY together. They were all so excited and really cute. I am feeling okay this morning. I think I for sure need to get some of those prego pops to help with the nausia. Tabitha McNulty said they are the best thing ever to settle your stomach. I can't wait to see Tay. He has been gone all week. We are going to go see the Lion King tonight and then he got us reservations at the Palm resturante for tomorrow night. I think we are going to have so much fun. Brit helped me pick out my clothes for the weekend. There are already some things I am going to have to put away because they are a little too tight in the bust ;). I can't even imagine what size these girls are going to be when Poppy Seed comes. It totally cracks me up. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will post l

Week 8

We had a great Thanksgiving here at the house.  It was so fun hosting our first Thanksgiving.  Mom, Dad, Brit, Jason, Silas, Cosy, and Maddie came over.  We had tons of food and it was so yummy.  Everyone just vegged here all day.  The boys of course watched football ALL day and night :)  It was so fun and relaxing.  Friday was game day.  We met Drew and Ashley over at Drew's dads house for more turkey dinner and visiting.  Taylor and I were so excited to see the twins.  They looked so adorable in their matching red outfits.  Drew and Taylor went to the game and use girls headed over to our house to play with the babies.  It was a very exciting game and WOO HOO we beat LSU!!!  The last part of the game was so exciting.  I kind of was sad I didn't go until the  boys called and told us how cold it was.  We all decided to go eat sushi and then head down to the Rev Room to see Boom Kinetic.  I was excited I could go since no one can smoke in there.  It was fun seeing people.  Zach
