25 Weeks!

Okay I am 25 weeks as of yesterday.  105 days to go!  AH!!!!!  I don't have a very busy week this week which is good.  I had another 8hr wedding this past Saturday and I was not feeling very good on Sunday.  I didn't get much sleep Saturday night and I think I was just totally exhausted.  I am feeling much better which is good.   I am so excited because this weekend I am having a girls weekend with Alyson and Brooke here at the house.  We had planned on going to Heber but plans changed and we are going to stick around here.  Taylor is heading to Dumas to hang out with some of his friends.  I am glad he is getting to do that.  He doesn't get to see his high school friends very much.  I know they will have a lot to catch up on.  I think we girls will veg most of the weekend.  I would love to go to some old antique places in Benton to look for an old chandelier for Mamie's room.  I plan on finding a cool cheap one, having it rewired and painting it.  We will see:)   Yester

24 Weeks

I am behind again on blogging.  Last week I was 24 weeks.  6 MONTHS!  I couldn't believe it when someone was asking me how far along I was and I said 24 weeks and they said "So like 6 months."  The weeks are flying by.  I shot an 8 hr wedding that past Saturday in Hot Springs.  We rolled into Little Rock around 1:30am.  I was so tired when I crawled into bed but not as tired as I thought I would be.  The next morning I woke up around 9:30 and was ready to roll.  Taylor and I eat a late breakfast and then headed out to Good Earth to get some mulch for the flower beds.  It was such a beautiful day.  Mom and Dad ended up coming over to help us.  We bought a bunch of plants that were 50% off and so we wanted to get them in the ground.  The yard looks SO good.  I will have to take a picture of it.  We have HUGE dogwoods in the back that have just bloomed and they are so beautiful.  I love Spring. Last week was just a normal busy work week.  I have hired a new girl Amanda to he

Kicking Baby: 23 Weeks!

We had a very nice and restful weekend. I start back with weddings this coming weekend so it was nice to have nothing to do but chill with Taylor. Saturday I did go with Mom and Brit to Duck Duck Goose. Let me just start from the beginning. On Friday Mom came over to finish painting Mamie's changing table. It looks really good by the way. After she finished we decided to get out and run a few errands. I really needed to find me some black pants to wear to my weddings along with some cute but comfortable shoes. I found 2 pair of shoes. They are so cute and I don't think I will ever take them off. I also found a couple shirts and a pair of black pants at Kohl's. I never shop a Kohl's. Carrie from our Sunday school class told me to check in every once in a while because they have random stuff that comes in. One shirt was on sale for $7. You can't beat that! Well Britney didn't really understand why I bought more maternity clothes since I have a box

22 Weeks!

I am 22 weeks as of Monday. I had my doctors appointment that I was suppose to have last week on Monday as well. Everything went great. I have gained some lbs. but we won't talk about that. Mamie you can look in my prego planner if you are really interested. I'll be sure to keep it for you ;) So this past weekend we went on a church retreat with our Sunday school class to the good ole town of Russellville. It was so nice to get away with good friends and veg out. We stayed at this really neat place on Lake Dardanelle. They cooked really good food and man did we eat alot:0 I felt like I needed to run 20 miles when I got home. Not everyone from the class got to come. A few of the couples that are really involved in the class just had babies so they decided to stay home and not keep us all up. :) Others had to work and we missed them all. We have such an amazing group of people in our class. I feel we can call on any of them for anything. When Brit was pregnant

21 Weeks

We have another appointment on Thursday with Dr. Sellers to go over our ultrasound that we had with the specialist last week. I bet it will be a short appointment. I bought more clothes for Mamie at the other consignment thing Brit and I went to on Sunday. She is going to be so cute in these sweet clothes. I am loving some smocked dresses. It reminds me of what Mom use to dress us in. So I don't have much to tell today. Baby Center sent us our 21 week update yesterday. Hello, Sarah! Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well. >> Read more

Catching up: 20 Weeks

I was 20 weeks last week. Half way there. I know I say this every time but man this is flying by. I can't imagine how fast it is going to go once wedding season kicks in. So there have been 2 huge consignment shows this past week. Brit and I found some adorable dresses and onsies for Mamie. This girl has more clothes than her momma now :) Friday Ashley and Dustin came to stay with us and they brought us another sweet little book. "On the Night You Were Born" by Nancy Tillman. Talk about shedding some tears. Ah it is so sweet. Thanks guys, you have been so thoughtful. I can't wait to read it to her. Saturday morning we headed to Memphis to go to a Grizzlies game with a group of friends. The 4 of us met up with Stuart and Alyson for some amazingly bad for you food at Gus's Fried Chicken. It was so good. Taylor and I have been watching "Man Vs. Food" on the travel channel and he ate there on one of his episodes. Funny thing tha
