25 Weeks!

Okay I am 25 weeks as of yesterday.  105 days to go!  AH!!!!!  I don't have a very busy week this week which is good.  I had another 8hr wedding this past Saturday and I was not feeling very good on Sunday.  I didn't get much sleep Saturday night and I think I was just totally exhausted.  I am feeling much better which is good.

I am so excited because this weekend I am having a girls weekend with Alyson and Brooke here at the house.  We had planned on going to Heber but plans changed and we are going to stick around here.  Taylor is heading to Dumas to hang out with some of his friends.  I am glad he is getting to do that.  He doesn't get to see his high school friends very much.  I know they will have a lot to catch up on.  I think we girls will veg most of the weekend.  I would love to go to some old antique places in Benton to look for an old chandelier for Mamie's room.  I plan on finding a cool cheap one, having it rewired and painting it.  We will see:)

Yesterday was a beautiful day.  I worked for a few hours and then put on my short and tank and sat in the sun for a while.  Today isn't so pretty.  LOL as I type this the sun is starting to peak out.  Maybe it will end up being another beautiful day.   Amanda is coming in so we will be working.

I have a doctors appointment next week.  We will have another ultrasound which a am super excited about and then they will also be testing my blood.  I think they said I would be there for 2hrs.  I bet it will go by pretty fast.  Jyl, text me the other day and wants us to come in so she can do another ultrasound and a 4D ultrasound.  I think we are going to go around 30 weeks and I have asked Cissy, Ken, Mom, Dad, Brit and Jason if they want to come and see her.  I wish Taylor's siblings could come but that might be a little hard since they all live in St. Louis.  We will have a DVD that we can show everyone.  I can't wait for that one.

Alyson and Brooke have been busy trying to get the baby shower together.  Last I heard it is going to be on the evening of June 5th.  I didn't have any Saturdays and only 1 Sunday open.  Can you believe that.  So it is going to be on a Friday night.   Now I have to get on my list :)  YEA so fun!

Oh also, Annie (Taylor's partner) and her husband gave us their 2 huge Koi and 2 smaller goldfish on Sunday.  We decided to put them in the top pond so we could see them better.  Yesterday I couldn't find one of the Koi so I walked down the stairs and saw that it was in in the larger second pond.  I called Taylor and asked him why he split them up.  I thought they were sad.  He said he didn't.....  Yall, we are not really sure how that big of a fish cleared this landing into the the drain.  There is a tube that takes the water down to the larger pond and then it recycles back up and down again.  That fish took a wild ride down the tube to the larger pond.  We have a mini Wild River Country here for our fish. LOL  I decided to moved him back with his friends.  Last night Taylor was feeding them and the 2 goldfish headed down the slide to the larger pond.  HA!!!  Anyway we think they like it here.  Oh and Gus almost fell head first in the pond yesterday trying to get the fish food.  What a fatty!

Okay I better go hop in the shower before Amanda gets here.

Hello, Sarah!

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

Burke is 3!!!!!

Okay I have decided that time is going by way too fast.  Burke just turned 3 the beginning of June!  I can not believe it.  I feel like just yesterday I was in the hospital having the little guy!  We had a fun small family party and he is loving some super hero's right now so that was the theme :)  Silas really wanted to jump out when he walked in and yell surprise so that is what we did :)  Burke is super shy and he really wasn't a fan of it all.  Pibby and Pops got him his first bike and it is SO cute.   I picked up a balloon for all the kids and one special spider man one for Boo.  He has always loved balloons.  He said the sweetest thing....... he wanted to let his balloons go up to Mamie so she would know that it was his birthday.  I couldn't believe he let his special Spider Man one go.  It made me want to cry.  She should be here with us.  ANYWAYS, it was a fun day and I got some pictures of course and a few videos.  Happy 3rd Birthday Burkie BOO!  We love you so so

Baby Burke- Please Pray

Taylor and I went in for our big ultrasound this morning. I am 18 weeks along now, so they were checking out our baby boy closely. They found 2 genetic markers that caused a red flag. One cyst on the brain and his kidneys are enlarged. We need lots of prayers right now. Prayers for these markers to disappear and for our baby boy to be healthy. We also need prayers for our sanity as we wait, hope and pray. We will go back for another ultrasound in 8 weeks (March 31). We were told not to look this up on the internet and would appreciate only positive comments on this situation. God is good and we are leaving it in His hands. Thanks for your prayers, Sarah

NO FEAR!!!

I took the kids to the park this afternoon once the sun came out.  It was so beautiful and we love Woodlands Edge park.  Lots of trees, green space to run and Slides:) Winnie is small but that girl is mighty.  She has NO FEAR when it comes to the slides.  Which is totally different for me since Burke has always been so cautious.  I love days like this.  Feeling very blessed! - Sarah
