We had a great Thanksgiving here at the house. It was so fun hosting our first Thanksgiving. Mom, Dad, Brit, Jason, Silas, Cosy, and Maddie came over. We had tons of food and it was so yummy. Everyone just vegged here all day. The boys of course watched football ALL day and night :) It was so fun and relaxing. Friday was game day. We met Drew and Ashley over at Drew's dads house for more turkey dinner and visiting. Taylor and I were so excited to see the twins. They looked so adorable in their matching red outfits. Drew and Taylor went to the game and use girls headed over to our house to play with the babies. It was a very exciting game and WOO HOO we beat LSU!!! The last part of the game was so exciting. I kind of was sad I didn't go until the boys called and told us how cold it was. We all decided to go eat sushi and then head down to the Rev Room to see Boom Kinetic. I was excited I could go since no one can smoke in there. It was fun seeing people. Zach and his wife I found out are prego and due in May. I swear everyone is pregnant right now :) It is so fun.
Saturday was a pretty lazy day for me. I wasn't feeling to well and was super tired from staying out the night before. I pretty much took naps and sat by the fire. Oh I did take pictures of Hayden and Cooper in the yard. They turned out so cute.
So we are 8 weeks :) I can't believe it. Taylor and I were reading out of our pregnancy book which we do every week to see what our Poppy Seed is doing. It amazes me every week what I read. Here is what baby center sent.
New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby —about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.
Taylor left for New Jersey yesterday and I will meet him there on Friday. I can't wait. We are going to spend the weekend in New York. I will post some pictures when we get back.
Another fun thing out found out. Katy Breen Robertson text me the other night and she and David are also due in July. How fun is that!

I wrote this great message about 2 weeks ago and still have in my send file but it wouldn't let me send. Hmm. Not sure. Something like when I worked for the Arkansas Gazette back in the day, they had a surprise party for Karen and I, the one thing I remembered the most is a banner that said, "Life as you know it will never be the same" I was concerned because I didn't understand at the time. When Steven was born I completely understood. That's when life truly began.
