Busy Week

I have had a very busy week this week with work. I am glad I am
staying busy so I don't have time to think too much about how long it
is going to be till Poppy Seed gets here. Taylor and I talk about it
every day! We still just can't believe it. Yesterday Britney and
Maddie drove to Cabot with me for a shoot. On the way back we were
talking about the baby. Maddie thinks that the baby will be a girl
and have a little bit of brown hair when it is born and she thinks for
sure it will have curly hair. I hope so! :) I think a curly headed
baby would be SO cute! I got an email from Alyson this morning and
she sent me a song that she said made her think of me. Her email says:

Sarah, I listened to this song today and thought about you...I think
it's a girl!

I hope you're doing well!

She and Maddie aren't the only one that thinks it will be a girl.
Jason is a strong believer that it will be a girl. He thinks since
Brit is more of a girlie girl and she had a boy and I am not so much a
girlie girl so I will have a girl. I was counting up last night.
Someone told me that we won't get to find out until 20 weeks. So that
make 14 weeks to go till we find out what the little nugget is :)
Can't wait!

    I am ready to know too so we can start shopping for them! I have a girl feeling for ya'll too! Hope you have a relaxing weekend after your busy week:)

Introducing Mamie's Poppy Plates

As you all know, I am Mamie's mom, and Mamie was my first child. I was pregnant with her from October 2008 to June 25th, 2009 when she was born a sleeping angel (stillborn) two and a half weeks before her due date. Stillbirth and infant death are realities that too many parents face even today. Did you know that each year 1 in 115 babies delivered is stillborn? And 1 in every 102 newborns die before the age of 28 days old? Now, a year after losing Mamie, I have started Mamie's Poppy Plates, my organization providing keepsakes for parents who are not able to take their babies home from the hospital. VBS

Burke and Winnie just finished their first Vacation Bible School and they had a blast.  I did as well :)  I got to help in Burkes class which is always really interesting.  There were about 20 3yr olds in there so it was WILD :)  It was a fun 3 days of learning about how God is our light.  We sang "This little light of mine" everyday and Winnie is trying so hard to sing it.  She walks around the house with her little pointer finger up mumbling.  I love it. - Sarah Winnie eating the stickers instead of putting them on her art piece :)
