We went to Florida a few weeks back. I had to shoot a wedding on Saturday the 14th in Rosemary Beach so Taylor and I decided since our 8yr anniversary was the next day we would make a trip out of it. Our good friends Dustin and Ashley decided to go with us as well. We had so much fun. We stayed in some really nice condos in Sea Crest which is right next to Rosemary on 30A. We arrived on Friday evening and as soon as we walked in the condo we all headed out to the balcony to see the ocean. Burke started pointing his little finger up and going "ooh ooh" We all looked up and OH MY GOODNESS!!! I have never seen that many dragonflies in my life. It was so awesome! There is a video below. Saturday morning we hit the beach and the kids LOVED it. Burke wasn't too sure about the sand but he loved the water. I headed off to my wedding later that day which was SO MUCH FUN!!!! Ben and Kelsey are from Little Rock. I have known Kelsey's family for a long time and just love them. Ben's family was equally as nice and welcoming. The wedding was beautiful and everything was just perfect. The rest of the week we vegged at the beach and by the pool. Burke loved playing in the baby pool and going under the water. He is a little fish. The food was great but I think we can all agree our favorite dinner was the one we made at the condo. It was a feast. We made shrimp, chicken and steak kabobs, sauteed mushrooms, asparagus and squash oh and rosemary potato slices in the oven. OH MY GOODNESS my mouth is watering just talking about it. We talked to some people on the beach one evening and they said they had 2 stingray's swim past them one evening when they were out swimming.
It was a great trip and a much needed vacation for us all. I can't wait to go back with Burke and Winnie :)

Burke did great on the drive. We turned him around so he could see out and also watch his Praise Baby which he wanted to watch the WHOLE time. I love the music but it got a little old having to listen to it over and over again. |

Can you see the dauphins? |

It was nasty rainy for one full day. The waves were crazy and the clouds were so dramatic. It reminded me of the day we were evacuated from Sea Grove, FL 8yrs ago 2 days before our wedding :) |
