I was 33 weeks last week. We have been super busy with work and getting everything ready for Mamie's arrival I haven't had a chance to blog. I had a doctors appointment last Tuesday and everything looks good. He said I am right on track and okayed me to drive to Lake Village for a 10 hour wedding this past Saturday. It was a long wedding but it was just wonderful. Everything was outside so by the end of the night I felt so swollen. Amanda and Heather went with me and were a great help. We had a fun night and stayed at the Ramada Inn. The next morning we all were like zombie. As soon as I walked in the door I crawled into bed and stayed there most of the day. When I woke up Taylor and I headed down to the lake let the dogs swim. I sat on the dock but I so wish I had my camera. Taylor would run and jump in and Gus would do a super dog leap in after him. It was so funny.
Here is what baby was doing last week
Hello, Sarah!
This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

Taylor and I went in for our big ultrasound this morning. I am 18 weeks along now, so they were checking out our baby boy closely. They found 2 genetic markers that caused a red flag. One cyst on the brain and his kidneys are enlarged. We need lots of prayers right now. Prayers for these markers to disappear and for our baby boy to be healthy. We also need prayers for our sanity as we wait, hope and pray. We will go back for another ultrasound in 8 weeks (March 31). We were told not to look this up on the internet and would appreciate only positive comments on this situation. God is good and we are leaving it in His hands. Thanks for your prayers, Sarah
