I had my second doctors appointment today and I went by myself. I really didn't see any need in Taylor getting off work for another appointment since I will for sure want him at my 18 week appointment. As soon as I saw my nurse I just started jabbering away. I don't know what gets into me when I get there. I get so excited and can't shut up. :) I had lost 2lb. WHAT!!!! Oh yes I had lost 2 pounds. I guess it was from me being sick and not wanting to eat much. They told me that I am fine and will for sure start putting on wait soon. WHOOPIE!
I told my nurse about me taking the intelligender test and she had never heard of it. As soon as my doctor walked in he started asking me all about it. I also told him about the Draino test that Jayna's mom had told us about. Did I discuss this in earlier post? I can't remember..... Anyway he started writing it all down. He is so funny....see he then told me that his wife was 2 weeks behind me and he might need to go buy some of these test. LOL isn't that funny.
We did the little doppler thing on my belly and I was really nervous. Not sure why I guess just that split second I had to wait for him to find Poppy Seed's heart beat. But sure enough he found it and ah it was so cool to hear that again. Poppy Seed little heard was pounding away at 150 beats per minute. Ah I could cry just talking about it. What a miracle this is. I still just can't believe it.
Okay get it together girl, so everything went great and so we will be heading back in 4 weeks and will be having another ultrasound. WHOOHOO!
Oh and here is the picture from the first ultrasound that Taylor and I left.

Taylor and I went in for our big ultrasound this morning. I am 18 weeks along now, so they were checking out our baby boy closely. They found 2 genetic markers that caused a red flag. One cyst on the brain and his kidneys are enlarged. We need lots of prayers right now. Prayers for these markers to disappear and for our baby boy to be healthy. We also need prayers for our sanity as we wait, hope and pray. We will go back for another ultrasound in 8 weeks (March 31). We were told not to look this up on the internet and would appreciate only positive comments on this situation. God is good and we are leaving it in His hands. Thanks for your prayers, Sarah
