I had a busy afternoon with Burke and Abe. It amazes me how fast Burke has grown and can so hang with Abe now. He thinks he is such a big boy. They had fun banging on the window at Gus, playing with all the toys and Meredith you will love this. Abe thought he was super cool in his Miller hat. It was a good day. - Sarah
Every holiday is a little bittersweet for Taylor and I. Not having Mamie here to do all the things a little 2 1/2 year old should be doing makes us sad but we are also so blessed and thankful to have Burke. He has brought us so much joy and that brings that sweet back into our lives. Since Mamie passed away we have done a low key Easter lunch at our house and let whatever kiddo's are here play in her garden. It makes us feel like she is involved on such a sweet and glorious day. This weekend we were super excited to take Burke down to see the Easter Bunny. Our church has a huge egg hunt at Allsop Park every year. There were kids everywhere and we got to visit with lots of good friends. Burke wasn't too sure about the Easter Bunny but he didn't cry. :) YEA Burke!
