Poppy Seed

Last week we all went to Hot Springs for the weekend. Pops was super excited because he got a new fishing boat however he didn't get to put it in the water all weekend ;(. The coolest thing happened right when we got there. We were all sitting on the deck when all of a sudden we saw not one but 6 beautiful yellow monarch butterfly. They flew all around us. It was so amazing. I felt Mamie's presence with us during that happy evening on the deck. Saturday Brit, Jason, Taylor and I met up with Taylor's brother Brian his wife Ashleigh and their sister Ashley at the races. We had a great time visiting and losing money ;) Sunday was so beautiful. Taylor and I decide to stroll downtown Hot Springs with Burke and the Goose. There were so many people down there. I guess since it was spring break. Burke enjoyed lounging back in his stroller with his feet propped up and watching all of the people pass by. We spent the evening over at Drew and Ashley's house with Taylor'

My friend texted me this morning to tell me her sweet little boy went to Heaven. I ask you all to please pray for this family. They have started the induction process and she will be delivering within the next couple of hours. She has asked me to come take pictures and I am so honored. Being able to meet their sweet boy and take pictures that they will cherish forever means the world to me. Please pray for peace and comfort for this family. They have been through too much this year. -Sarah

I just got a message that a new friend of mine that I meet just after she lost her baby this past summer is in L&D tonight and is 20weeks pregnant. She began having serious pains today and went to the hospital to find out she is 10cm dilated. They have her on her back trying to keep her sweet baby from coming WAY to early. My heart hurts right now and I can't seem to gather my thought. All I can think is how scared she and her family must be. How could this be happening! I keep praying for a miracle. God please keep this baby safe. Everyone please pray for this family. They need it more than ever. -Sarah

So I have totally been slacking again on the blog post.  Things have been great around here.  Burke is on the move these days and man is he fast.  He hasn't figured out how to crawl on his knees yet but he has mastered the army crawl.  A few weeks back we  both got pretty sick.  After a long wait at the doctors office we found out he had strep.  Not fun at all.  I felt so bad for the little guy.  While dealing with that he was also cutting 2 more top teeth.  Yes that's right.  Burke has 6 teeth now and he loves to chew on everything he can get his hands on.  Burkie has been such a quiet little guy until just a few weeks ago.  His personality has really come out.  He's such a ham these days.  He loves to dance, clap his hands, show us his tongue, wave bye bye and sing into his favorite microphone oh and I can't forget he loves loves loves to play with any kind of ball.  Everyday he seems to do something new and I thank God for this wonderful gift He has given us.
